Binary Score ??
She came like a cool breeze
that I could not ignore.
And soothed me to the core
like I had felt never before.
I had all my love to pour,
and beautiful moments to adore,
Wanted to touch her to explore…
Fling ? A questioning question she wore.
That brought sedated verity to the fore.
Oh ! That lump made my throat sore
and my wrenched heart was tore.
Entangled middle class values started to implore.
No, you can not !! Ordered lore.
You can not play with her anymore.
Either own or leave her.. ..
was conveyed to every single pore.
Stretched out hands were held back &
my thirst to live life was no more.
Weak, I let her go and
kept looking from the shore.
Yet, the heart holds a deathless niche &
she, a dreamt reality for sure.
Makes me wonder,
is love really a binary score ?

Confusing ? Why o why ?
Someone told me that love is a binary state to which I did not agree and hence the poem. To me it is definitely much more than that.

Yup.. Everytime you come out with a poem, I think this is the best that you’ve written so far and then you surprise me with an even better one next time around and hence the comment…
btw, another little thing- I use the word ‘aha’ very selectively– only when I come across something delightful!!A lot of times, I may write only that in appreciation, ok? (Give the Lazy guy a chance to write as few words as possible!!)
