Sunday Brunch
Ok, I wanted to give you a good nice Sunday brunch. But I was also waiting for a dish called Australian Open. Never mind, by the time this post shows in your readers, it’ll serve you as evening snacks except for my readers in US & Canada.
I AM HAPPY.
1. Indian pair of Bhupati & Sania Mirza won the mixed doubles finals at Australian open by 6-3, 6-1. Earlier, DPS student Yuki became the first Indian to win Australian junior title. Yayy !!
2. I am a great fan of Federer but this guy Nadal has tremendous talent as well. It’s hard on me then ! I am unable to decide whom to support !!
So, posting it before any of them wins.
But then I like a player called Marcos Baghdatis as well, more for non-tennis reasons.
3. Hail cricket ! India won the 2nd ODI and now leading by 2-0 in 5 match series against Sri Lankans. Thus Indians now have won 7 ODI matches in a row.
4. Dhoni, the leader, the hero, the, the, the.. . (Oh my God ! I am drooling !)
has again reclaimed the Top ODI batsman’s position in ICC rankings.
5. If you can read Hindi, there are a couple of good posts which you can enjoy. The first is from Ankur of Bilaspur. Believe me, he is well matured to be a teenager. Also see that video clipping. Please leave an encouraging comment there if you agree to his views. He doesn’t need my comment; he knows what my views are on his posts.
6. Another Hindi post which I would like to link here is from Shastri Philip. He writes about an old woman. Do such people still exist ? Please read the post.
7. Google’s chief economist Hal Varian says executives in wired organizations need a sharper understanding of how technology empowers innovation. He compares the current period to previous times of industrialization when new technologies combined to create ever more complex and valuable systems—and thus reshaped the economy. A good read for Sunday if you are interested in the subject.
8. Another interesting article I read is about How India avoided a crisis post 26/11 but I can not provide you link since it is only for members. If anyone is interested, ask me.
9. If you think you have come across or written a post which needs a wider audience, please leave a link here or if you wish to remain anonymous, that’s perfectly fine with me. You can make use of the contact tab above.
10. And yes, encourage me as well by leaving a comment here !

Cuckoo,
Yes, good time for Indian sport, though I badly wanted Bhupati to win the Mens Doubles as well. About Sania?? Finally
some achievement after so many commercials.
Thanks for the great articles, specially the one by Shastriji was really touching.
And yeah, great to know that you are happy. Hope you remain this way always.

Hey Cess, I am following Baghdatis too …
Fedex lost.
Dhoni … good human being, dashing batsmen, good leeper and fantabulous Captain.

Ankur,
You are welcome.
Abhi,
On sports I agree. And you are welcome.
Tarun,
Cess ???? Who’s that ? Not me !! I think you are coming from Cess’s blog.
I think slowly Federer will fade away.
And Dhoni ?? You have already said.

Hey Cuckoo,
Its interesting you mention Yuki being a DPS RKP student. Are you an alum ? It was a hitherto unkown piece of detail.

yipee!! nadal won. Nadal’s always been my favorite. As opposed to federer who always radiates this god-like aura around him, nadal’s looks more hard-working with his bulging biceps…kinda reminds me of popeye the sailorman.

When I read this, it’s not any more Sunday brunch, but rather Monday lunch (and also knowing the Australian Open result). Anyhow, still interesting. I read the Hal Varian article. Gives some hopes!
Surprised that Patrick Bruel has reached as far as India!
