Yes, Indians lost the plot there and ended up thirty runs short. They were definitely trying to hit sixes, as the ground was a small one. Square of the wicket the boundary was just 40 yards, less than even 45 which was around the ground. It was too small a ground, which is not fit for exciting cricket. It is not fair for the bowlers, as they would get clobbered and even a miss hit also could go for a six. India winning or not winning, personally I would not enjoy the match on such grounds. Bowling three no balls in a T20 is definitely not on, but Bhajji bowled well and so did matured Zaheer. Raina dropping his anchor down and showing his rear guard action was brilliant in batting with Bhajji. Some ruthless hitting by the powerful NZ players sealed the match for Indians, but the way without a single practice match the Indians played there first match, giving a good fight, was commendable.
