My Beloved readers
I have stopped counting comments, queries and messages for my posts. I simply can not. They are from every corner of this world and in any form.
I keep getting requests to write on topics or true stories narrated by my beloved readers. They think I am a journalist or someone with supernatural power. I have many untold stories in my bag vying to come out in light. Sometimes it becomes difficult to take them up not because I do not want to write but because of the high expectations or fear of exposing someone.
At times I find it quite amusing as well. ![]()
They make me smile, happy, curious, overwhelmed, responsible and sometimes angry too.
Here is a sample of them, the shorter ones. Maybe your comment or message is also part of it.
1. Hi,
I’m from England.
I spent six months teaching in a village around 1/2 km away from Rishi Valley School. the village was Thettu in a schools name was Sadhana Vidya Nillayam. The owner of the School was the son of the original pottery teacher at RV. It was eight years ago now. As far as I’m aware the School no longer exists but I was just looking for pictures of the area on-line and came across your article. I used to enjoy walking through the grounds of RV and talking to the very friendly pupils. I just wanted to say that your article brought back very fond memories of a beautiful part of India.
Best Wishes,
2. I have one new article posted on my blog today about the independence of India. It would be really helpful for me to improve myself, if you could go through it & could give me your opinion. I am a new blogger, so suggestions from others are very important for me, so that I could write better.
also, please inform me about your blog too, so, I could read it and could learn something new!!
3. Why wouldn’t you talk to me?
4. I would like to gain admisssion for two kids aged 9 years to Class 3. could you please let me know the admission procedure and the cost of boarding two kids in your school.
Appreciate your reply soon
5. One needs a lot of guts (mind you I am not undermining the importance of your feelings or immense knowledge) first to have strong opinions on subject and then to express them publicly.
6. Namaskar
I need admission for my son in 8th class for the academic year 2008-09. Please let me know the procedure for admission.
Regards
8. Great pics Cuckoo. Really happy to see this. I was born and bought up in Madanapalle. I am really surprise to hear that you know a lot of things about my place which are known to only a few in Andhra Pradesh. Seems you have missed Horsely hills in you journey. This place is the actually official summer resort of AP Governer. This was developed by Horsley, the then collector of Cuddapah, during british reign. This hill resort stands at an altitude of 4400 ft above the sea. The climate here is extremely good through out the year, but you have less amenities over the top. The T B curing center is the first of its kind in South India. Infact Rabindhranath Tagore came to this town to get heal his ailing Aunt’s health by the suggestion from his friend James cousins. Seems you travel a lot. Happy Journey.
9. very touching…..reminds me of sumbody…

simply amazzzingg
Love

I’m only happy when blogging contacts lead to direct mail messages and later sometimes to really meeting bloggers. I must have met some 15 or 20 by now; only nice experiences. I hope for more!

Sharad,
Welcome here.
Kya baat hai, aaj raat bhar mere blog par night duty ka iraada hai?
Well, yes. I do feel happy, excited and contended that someone is reading me somewhere. I don’t think anyone can get used to it. The amount of excitement, eagerness and that small factor of curiosity make us so overwhelmed that it’s difficult to describe in words.
I may not reply to each & every comment but I do look forward to reading them.

Sharad,
Arre, I said it generally. But I always try to reply to each comment… sooner or later. Sometimes I am not here and sometimes it is easier to reply to 10 smaller comments instead of holding them than to reply 1 big thought provoking comment.
So, chill.
