Musings

रिमझिम गिरे सावन ….

Anyone who says sunshine brings happiness has never danced in the rain.
Whoever has said that, said it rightly.

Monsoon has arrived and I am waiting to get drenched at Marine Drive.
Right now it’s difficult to take one full day out of my schedule just to enjoy the rains the way I want to.

This monsoon should bring some changes, some more trips to green Sahyadris and amidst hot masala chai and garam pakodas some more wide smiles on my face. :D

This is one of my favourite rain songs and I like the one in female voice.

You know my mood now.

The only funny thing I find in this video is that poor Maushami has to run to walk with Amitabh Bacchan.

Current Song:- Rimjhim Gire Sawan - Lata Mangeshkar

Enjoy the rains. The thunderstorm and the torrential downpours never happen here. missing it.

    Deepu,
Oh, you remind me of Kerala rains !
Westerners are quite behaved you know, they do things in subtle manner unlike us. :P

    Nandan,
I have lived major part of my life in Delhi. I know what you mean. :-)
The rains are so different in these two cities.

Yes, the male version is also very good but out of two, I like the female version. Maybe because I don’t have the full song of male version. It stops abruptly. :D

Monsoon dancing must be fun, but if it lasted just the time of a dance, wouldn’t it be good enough?

Sometimes it rains for three days at a stretch in kerala. Sheer bliss. No point in waiting out a rain like that. :)
