Dispatches - Terror in Mumbai

I have talked about 26/11 on many of my posts. It was an attack by a group of insane maniacs not only on India but the entire world, seeking attention for their senseless beliefs.

A few days back Britain’s Channel 4 has aired Dan Reed’s documentary on 26/11 terrorist attacks on Mumbai. It contains the inside story and coverage, original CCTV footage, accounts of survivors and police both, testimonies of all involved including Kasab, the lone survivor of that group; telephonic conversations between the conspirators & the gunmen recorded by the Indian intelligence services and lot more.

A sample of conversation.. .. “Throw some grenades, my brother, there’s no harm in throwing a few grenades. How hard can it be to throw a grenade? Just pull the pin and throw it. For your mission to end successfully, you must be killed. God is waiting for you in heaven.”

A chilling lesson for all of us not to take them lightly.

I could see only one part of it and before I could move to next part, the access to videos has been blocked by Channel 4 due to a copyright claim.

Before I give you links to all 5 parts, here is a caution.

Caution:- These videos are NOT for weak hearted and contain graphic, violent images and descriptions which may upset some viewers.

Now the links.

Let me know if you could see it. I guess UK viewers can still watch it. See here.

Update:- If you are still interested in seeing the video. Here is the torrent link. Do leave a comment when you watch it. Thanks.

Each time I am reminded of that incident, I feel so helpless and angry. I also read the turn out of Mumbaite voters for last elections was low. :(

(Flower shows in Lal Bagh are during 15h Aug and 26th Jan. Mine was from 26th Jan 2009’s show.)

Well, unfortunately the YouTube videos have been removed. … and the link to Channel 4 was not visible (in France, at least). It’s somehow sufficiently terifying to read your sample of conversation … and imagine!

India needs to control the Muslim population. As soon as they become a majority in a region, they want independence (and Islamic rule) and resort to violence.

This community cannot live peacefully with any other religious community in the world.

Any time there are protests in Srinagar (as a result of Indian security forces allegedly killing a suspected Islamic terrorist), security forces should not fire above people’s heads but shoot them IN THE HEAD!

The biggest joke is: “Islam is a religion of peace.” LOL

    @Neel,

I am sorry brother, I do not agree with you(and I am sure Cuckoo doesn’t advocate your views either).

Who says Muslims cannot and do not want to live in peace with other communities? We all have Muslim friends who love and care for us as much as friends of other communities do. Let us not make assumptions simply on basis one single state/region. In a city like Mumbai(which is considered communally explosive) also,we have seen Hindus and Muslims coming together, saving and helping each other during train blasts, terrorists attacks and flooding. There have been innumerable Muslims who have made India proud on numerous occasions. I think it is unfair to look down on the entire community because of a few extremists. Yes, I agree with you that terrorists should be shot IN THE HEAD, but not because they are Muslims, but because they are terrorists. It doesn’t matter then whether he is a Hindu extremist or a Muslim or a Sikh.

And yes, Islam still is a religion of peace. In my opinion, every religion preaches peace. No religion asks its followers to take the path of terror. It is only a bunch of few bastards who use religion, race, color and such things as a weapon to misguide the people(usually unemployed/uneducated). And just look around you.. They are present in every country, state, religion and community.

    Jai Hind!!

    @Abhi,

It is because of people like you that India today is in trouble. Your secular thinking will be the cause of the death of India. Hindus need to be more nationalistic and that unfortunately means anti-muslim. Who do you think the Indian muslims cheer for during India-Pak cricket matches? Pak of course.

How many examples of muslim community NOT living peacefully with others do you want?
    - russia/chechnya
    - bosnia/serbia
    - palestine/israel
    - uighur muslims of china/han chinese
    - muslims of southern thailand/buddhist thais
    - malaysian muslims/hindu and other minorities
    - indonesian muslims/hindu bali
    - and many many more!

There is not a religious community that muslims do not have a problem with.

Just because you have a few muslim friends doesn’t mean anything. If the time comes, they wouldn’t hesitate to cut your throat. Tell me the name of 3 muslims that have done India proud (in areas that matter - like freedom fighting)?

And it is not just a “few” muslims doing all the bad things. There are entire muslim countries that have an extremist mindset. It is unfair, yet a fact of life, that the actions of a “few” give the entire community a bad name. That’s just the way it is. You could be a saint all your life, but you do just one bad thing and your entire reputation will be ruined. That’s life. If there are moderate muslims out there, then we need to hear their voices. Their silence implies sympathy for the terrorists’ cause.

Also, it is well known that the Koran condones the killing of infidels. People who believe Islam is a religion of peace are either naive or dillusional or too politically correct for their own good.

India needs to take a heavy handed approach to crack down on muslims. If that means shooting them for their violent protests, then so be it. Innocent muslims will have to die/suffer if we are serious about protecting our homeland.

Abhi, my brother, it is because of people like you that there have been so many bombings in India committed by muslims and ONLY ONE 9/11 in the United States! There’s a 9/11 in India almost every year.

Hindus need to unite, shed their secular image and crack down on the muslim community. I’m not a Hindu extremist - I just don’t want to see India suffer at the hands of muslims anymore.

Turning-the-other-cheek approach doesn’t work with muslims. We need to retaliate. Instead of providing “proof” to Pakistan that 26/11 was done by Pakis, we needed to bomb them!

Also, it is clear that today’s muslim terrorists are not simply “unemployed and uneducated”. Today’s terrorists are well-educated doctors, software engineers, teachers and rich businessmen (funding the operations). The level of planning that goes in each attack clearly shows that these guys are smart people.

Neel i totally endorse your thoughts and opinion. The real problem is indeed Islam. I think “good muslim” would be the first item if they ever create a dictionary on oxy-morons.

We guys are actually pseudo-secular and need to change this urgently.

And for our friends like “abhi” and numerous others like him around us, i got just 2 words to describe them “educated fools” and 2 words of advice for them “wake up”.

    Abhi,
I have downloaded from torrent. Yet to see it in full.

And thanks for replying to Neel. Much appreciated.

    Indrani,
Thanks for the info. Next time will try to go there on one of those days. :)

    Peter,
Yes, the experience and the planned plot is terrifying. I have downloaded from torrent to see. It’s still available there.

    Neel,
Welcome aboard. Neel, you are so misinformed and biased about certain things. I am afraid this site does not advocate your views. So, it’s better if we agree to disagree here. :)
Although, Abhi has nicely replied to you, I would like to state/clarify a few things.

Who do you think the Indian muslims cheer for during India-Pak cricket matches? Pak of course…. Do you think Zaheer Khan, Irfan and his bro and other muslim players do not play for India ? Wrong .. They are as much Indian as we are or probably more than us. It’s shame on us if we try to malign their patriotism.

There is not a religious community that muslims do not have a problem with…. On the contrary, I would change your sentence a bit. It should be “There is not a religious community that does not have a problem with others.”.

Tell me the name of 3 muslims that have done India proud (in areas that matter - like freedom fighting)?.. Neel, my friend, I would request you to brush up your history.

I am in no mood to counter your other statements. Only thing I have to say is that if terrorism is true for muslims, it’s equally true for other religions. Babri Masjid, Godhra and Operation blue star were all religion related to name a few. Whether we accept or not, we have terrorists in every religion.

    Thanks for your visit.
Keep coming and voicing your opinion. We like healthy discussions here.

    Neel and Khalsa,
If you feel so strongly, why don’t you go to afghanistan and fight them. All of us Indians who love peace and democracy would appreciate very much if you guys go over and stay put.

    Cuckoo,

You’ve spoken like a true politician and pseudo-secularist. I’m sure the muslim readers of your blog will be pleased and will come back to your site. You’re like a politician who will say/do anything to please muslims (playing “vote-bank politics”). I’m hearing ‘nare’ - “Cuckoo-devi zindabad! Neel murdabad!” lol

I may be biased because I love India. However, you are blind to the facts.

There are bad apples in every community but the muslim community takes the #1 prize for the number of bad apples. It is important that we recognize this fact and implement appropriate security measures that take this into account. Instead, we are more concerned about offending muslims than protecting our homeland. This is why we have had multiple “9/11″’s and the US only one.

In order to protect our country we need to adopt tough laws that target muslims. But pseudo-secularists like you will never allow that. The so-called “random” airport security checks in the US all target muslims. We need to do something similar.

If even after 26/11 you still sympathize with muslims, then I question if you really love India and care about its security and future (existence)?

As far as cricket, I’ve personally seen Indian muslims (viewers, not players) cheer for the pakis - more than once. I don’t think any true Indian will cheer for the pakis.

    @Deepu,

Your comment is … stupid. I hate to use that word, but it really is.

Just because I have these opinions doesn’t mean I want to pick up a gun and fight. It is ridiculous of you to assume that!

My job is to influence the minds of Indians who think they are doing India good by being “secular”; my job is not to pick up a gun.
