I am not drunk but…..
I think something has happened to me today.
I am total mast and bindaas. (bindhast in Marathi).

I have been listening and humming the songs which I generally don’t; not in this order and definitely not in one single playlist !! I am playing them in loop; loud on my speakers and folks at home are as clueless as I.
To give you a glimpse, here’s my list. Now, don’t laugh. Believe me; they’ll take anyone on top of this world.
Aaj main jawan ho gayi huN, Gul se gulistan ho gayi huN – Do you remember that Mithu Mian?
Dhan Te Naan.. teraan – I always thought and used this phrase as Tan Tanaaa…..
Sasural genda phool - Oye hoye hoye….
Nain Lad jaihen to naina ma kasak hoibe kari– One of the best dancing, gyrating songs that I like
Arey yaar meri tum bhi ho gazab, Ghoonghat to zara odhho – Hmmmm…
Ye dilli hai, ye dilli hai meri jaan – I am missing my dilli meri jaan
Jai jai shiv shankar, kaanta laage na kankar – Now why this?
Love Me Do, You Know I Love You – I love the harmonica
Paan Khaye saiyaan hamaro – Just after Beatles this one ?? Heh …
Badan pe sitare lapete hue, o jaane tamanna - I don’t why I am listening to it
Chun chun kerti Aayi chidiya - Of all the songs, this one ?
Aaj rapat Jaayein to Humein na uthaiyo – Barish to ho nahi rahi fir bhi ???
She Loves you – Yay yay yay !!! Kya mast gaana hai yaar
Shall I add Bidi jalai le…. to this list ???
No. I am not drunk.
Current Song:- Aaj rapat Jaayein to Humein na uthaiyyo

Ah, it’s good to go out of your usual comfort zone sometimes and to listen to music you wouldn’t ordinarily opt to choose. It is amazing what you can discover. I find having four teenagers under my roof, I am often FORCED to listen to music not of my choice. The surprise is, most of it is actually quite good!

Sharad,
I am bypassing Shrinky, will reply her later. In a hurry, so answering you first.
Don’t tell me you haven’t heard them ! They both are very popular songs albeit a bit old ones.
In fact, “Arey yaar meri tum bhi ho gazab,” is one of my favourites sung by Kishore & Asha. and the first one by Lata Mangeshkar.
Will give you the links later or since you are free in your night duty, why don’t you do it yourself ?

Shrinky,
You are absolutely right. Sometimes we need to loosen our reins and inhibitions and enjoy the life the way we feel to.
Screenage,
Thank you thank you.
Ok, I’ll go there again. Thanks.

Such a loong list of songs?/ Very nice.
LOL
If we analyze the list properly - we can conclude following things:
1. You are missing your Delhi
2. You love rains
3. Looks like you are missing someone badly

Tarun,
No.
Alex,
Thank you but you should also think of my people at home.
Jeevan,
Don’t analyze too deeply.
Oh yes. all 3 are true.
LOL
