I wonder who you are
I saw my blogs today… … all three of them.
And I sat still… .. gazing at the screen. I wondered about the people who read my blog. Looking at my clustermap, I marveled at the dots on it. Brazil, Peru, Canada, Paris, Germany, China, Honolulu, even Iceland !
Visitors from almost everywhere frequent my space. No. of subscriptions in four types of feeds has increased manifolds.

Who these people are ? How do they know me ? Or more importantly why do they know me ??
I have people coming from places I have always dreamt to visit. Will I meet them when I go there ? Can I contact them to know more about the place ?

I know scores of visitors came here searching for some random words. How many of them have stuck to this blog ?
Why regular readers have become regular ?
I also think about those silent readers who never comment.
What do people ruminate when they read my blog? Do they identify with what I write or do they check this blog to negate me ? Are they judgmental of me ?
How many of them know me personally ?
The people I know in real life are spread all over this globe but majority of them don’t know about my space here. Only the close ones. Yet, do some of them read me ? Sometimes my readers know me so well that I feel, some of them are from my own territory. Is that so ? Or have my unknown readers become my close ones ?
I am actually curious to know who my readers are and how they landed here.
I wish one day I could know all of them personally… off this blog. At least for a day. To let me cherish the day, the moment.
So if you are reading this and wish to share about you and how you landed here, comment section is all yours. Please spare a moment to do so.
If you are uncomfortable writing there, you can write to me here.
And your silence is well respected as well.
Thank you.

Hmm
Something happened? Why so serious?
well, I am coming on your blog since the very beginning. I think I came here searching for some words and liked your writing. I think it was your post on Mulgi Shikli. I saved it as a bookmark and after 2 days came and read all posts till then. Since then I am hooked onto your writing and eagerly wait for your posts.
I am also a Delhite like you and can very easily understand your predicament about certain issues.
Some of your writings are the best I have read on web, they are very touchy and authentic. I also like your poetry which mostly make me smile. Later I started checking your other 2 blogs but don’t comment much.
Best part is that you write in very simple colloquial words.
May you write more & more.

Amiya,
Which photo are you talking about ? The tulips ones or the other ? Tulips is shot with an analogue camera. Minolta to be precise.
The other photo is with Panasonic Lumix which I use these days.
Yes, I travel a lot. Lot means lot.
And thanks for the appreciation. I badly needed it.
And check your mail-box including spam.

I don’t remember how we first “met”, but what I know is that I’m happy to be a regular visitor here and to see you commenting on my blog! So far we have met only virtually (even for an interview), but I’m sure we must make it for real one day! I have already had the pleasure of meeting also physically a rather large number of bloggers (maybe 20 or 25?), always a pleasure! Somehow, you learn to know the persons when you have visited a blog for a while, exchanged comments… and there are some you really would like to really meet; you are certainly one of them!

Don’t remember how we met. Was it thru Mr P N Subramaniam’s blog?
Quite a surprise, we met him the other day! Maybe, one day we will also meet.

Peter,
You are a gem of a person, I’ve always said that.
And thanks for your nice compliment, I am also looking forward to it. The world is not coming to an end today.
Rocksea,
Yes, you are right about commenters but there is also an amount of regulars who wish to remain silent who do not know us personally. That’s what my experience says.
