Alvida ..

I don’t think I will be able to write anymore for at least a few months/years because of various reasons and circumstances, and at this moment I am not sure if I will even write again.

So treat this as my last post. I guess I Read the rest of this entry »

Let there be en-LIGHT-enment

I have never heard of such a brilliant idea of family planning. This is what we all should support and do.

Ghulam Nabi Azad, our Health and Family Welfare Minister, has called for the country to redouble its efforts to bring electricity to all of its huge rural population. And he is damn serious about it.
Now, you must be wondering what electricity has got to do with population control.

This is what he says. Read the rest of this entry »

Yeah, that’s true.

I am finally back here or should I say trying to be back ? Heh.

Racist attack, corrupt system or surviving tactics of airlines. Some poetry or Passing the sentence.  The remaining posts on nostalgic moments or blogging tips.. Mixed emotions or my traveling experiences.. .. What should I start with ? Everything is being demanded.

I have so much to write about, so much of pending stuff and I don’t feel like writing.  :(

Some Gyan

1) Bryan Adams and bhojpuri songs don’t go together in the same playlist.
2) Same goes with Chinese dosa or Schezwan samosa. Remixes are not made for me. Cya Himesh Reshammiya.
3) Jumbo King (vada paav) is not a chain started by Jumbo King (Kumble).
4) You know ‘life sucks’ when these two words come from a 10 year old girl.
5) I think my right knee is slightly darker than the left one. Just the knee. Do you think it has taken genes from my dad and the fairer one from my mom ?
Just wondering.. ..

Roller-Coaster

Roller-coaster. Life is nothing but a roller-coaster. Slow, fast, up & down, twists & turns.. ..  twirling around and by the time you get back to your senses, you have already covered a chunk of it. Rotten system sucks you in or throws you out, but does not allow you to take a straight path. In any case, it’ll affect you no end. You can not escape unscathed. Untouchability (yes, that’s a word) is not allowed. It goes on. And on.

Sometimes when you are scared of it, scared to be thrown far off the track, you tightly hold onto it closing your eyes and let the time take its course. Your hands pain and sometimes bleed by the grip but you don’t let it throw you by its anomalous motions.
Till.. ..
You come out triumphed. In your own way.

And then you see a zygomorphic pattern.

Sunday Brunch

Ok, I wanted to give you a good nice Sunday brunch. But I was also waiting for a dish called Australian Open. Never mind, by the time this post shows in your readers, it’ll serve you as evening snacks except for my readers in US & Canada.

I AM HAPPY.

1. Indian pair of Bhupati & Sania Mirza won the mixed doubles finals at Australian open by 6-3, 6-1. Earlier, DPS student Yuki became the first Indian to win Australian junior title. Yayy !!

2. I am a great fan of Federer but this guy Nadal has tremendous talent as well. It’s hard on me then ! I am unable to decide whom to support !! :P So, posting it before any of them wins.
But then I like a player called Marcos Baghdatis as well, more for non-tennis reasons.

3. Hail cricket ! India won the 2nd ODI and now leading by 2-0 in 5 match series against Sri Lankans. Thus Indians now have won 7 ODI matches in a row.

Heya !

Could you notice my absence ? I bet you did not. Yes, I had to rush out of Mumbai once again. And I am back again.
Back ? Again ?
But yaar, ye jati kab hai that she always chants “back again, back again ?”.

That’s a million dollar question, my dear.
Very few, very few of you knew about my this trip. But my posts are very smart, they appeared in my absence as well and I can see many weighty comments on my last post here which no doubt, need reply and a separate post. Will happen.

I can see, Read the rest of this entry »

Hi !

I am back and right now wondering what to start with in new year besides wishing us all a very Happy, Prosperous, Fruitful, Loveful and Safe new year ahead.

Should I write some requested posts or do some long pending, crying for my attention tags ? Taggers I hate you ! No, no, I should refrain from hatred and spread love and only love.
Should I publish my latest poetry scribble or write on some burning issues or grumble or elate on something personal ? What about ‘Passing the sentence’ ? Or simply sing a song ?

Choices are many but not difficult. Will do them all.. .. one by one. :D

Some posts appeared in my absence on two of my blogs. I got some response through various channels for guest blogging as well and need to filter them now.

Hmmm.. .. too many comments to reply to. Many blogs to read, link or comment. All usual stuff.

Abraham : My little carefree friend

No New Year resolutions but

Mirages to touch, miracles to achieve,
childhood to enjoy, skies to reach,
voices to hear, voids to fill,
memoirs to treasure, dreams to fulfill.. ..

All with lots of love, smiles and hugs…

So, here I am .. all set to dance to the tunes of life.

I am off .. ..

.. to my vacations for a few days. Holiday season you know. Wanted to pour out Cuckoo’s cuckoo thoughts on so many topics but lack of time holds me back. That said, I am leaving some links here that caught me interested.

1.    Jaago Re
This is a site for registering online on the electoral rolls. Getting registered is the most, basic starting point of any election. So if you have not already, then get registered today.

2.    Vote Yatra
This site talks about a journey to the General Elections of India in 2009, of all information about RTI,  of different aspects of voting or not voting. They are also building a databank of all the politicians of India that we need to check or know before casting our votes. You too can help them if you know some of the details about the politicians of your constituency.

3.    Dreams of Pakistan
Do you want to see what Pakistan is dreaming of ? Most hilarious thing of recent times. Losers !! Ok, I am controlling my abuses now.

4.    Dancing Matt
Have you seen this video ? When I saw it first, I couldn’t stop myself dancing like that. :D And that also tells us how we live in our own world oblivious of different places, people and cultures. There is so much to see, know and learn about. No ?
This video has become so popular that visa people have approached him and now he appears with a shorter version of his video in Visa card ad. You must have seen it during recent cricket match series.

Here is the full version.

5.    If you think you have come across a post which needs a wider audience (readership), let me know. I’ll try to do the needful. The post must be at the most a week old. If you are a regular here, I anyway check your blog.
You can leave the link either here, on the chatbox, or through my contact form. If you want to remain anonymous, that’s fine. You can also leave the link at Blogbharti.

6.    For new readers - Use the chatbox on right sidebar or the contact form for any off-topic comments but no personal requests, details or anything.. .. such likes will straightaway head towards spam.

Feel free to leave comments.. more the merrier; I’ll try to touch my laptop once in 2 days. :) But remember, I have a comment policy as well.
Also don’t miss me. I’ll make sure some posts make their appearances in my absence on any of my blogs.

I wish you and your loved ones a very Happy and Prosperous year ahead. May your wishes come true and all that stuff. :P

Phew !! Too much of Hindi that was, eh ? :P
Now I hit the Publish button. :D
