I think I have made him crippled.
Forever.
He is warped now… beyond recovery.
He can not go anywhere. However hard he tries to manage without me, he can not.
I feel guilty. But happy too.

The day you tried to become a stranger..
my intrinsic secrets shocked, perplexed,
and refused to surface.
For, my feelings are not for any outsider.

Inmost, integral, very much mine
just like you were sometime.
They help me survive
by keeping me warm & alive.

They are my true companions
unlike you,
who isn’t ready to be even a mate….
The naked truth as much as I hate.

I know you exist somewhere
under the same roof.
But so far off,
secluded and aloof.

Tell me how long you plan to ignore ?
I’ll ask the feelings to be patient a bit more.
Right now their exhilarations soar
Oh ! How much I quell them to the yore.

I still feel the warmth of your touch….
the sensation, the feelings that endure.
The warriors that they are,
they don’t and won’t die for sure.

I know a pretty little girl
precious like a pearl
Who has a little curl
and sets hearts a-whirl.
She jumps barefoot in the puddle
and likes very much to cuddle.
Who stops at the sight of a daisy
and always acts like a crazy.
Makes paper planes & tries to fly
full of inquisitives why why why.
There she sat strong and calm,
silently staring at the body & its palm.

Faking the smile, hiding the pain
Off to routine there she goes again.

Why a veil when I wail ?

Why I whine, why not wine ?
Why not a fake smile for a while ?
Why affection, Why addiction, Why surrender ?

Together we were a jungle team
full of play and wild scream.
Together we dreamt to dream,
laugh and cry in gloom and gleam.

Scratch and bite, love and fight ..
all through day and night.
Agreed, we at fault together
then where is my equal right ?

Every night we drink together ..
You, that poison and I, my tears.
How could you turn our heaven into
something, which even hell fears ?

I gaze at space the whole night
while you sleep the day away.
If you wanted to depart,
couldn’t you find a better way ?

With you I learnt the meaning of ‘us’
but you taught me the word ‘away’.
I die hundred deaths every day
For your happiness, I still pray.

You loved me then, didn’t you ?
You love me now, don’t you ?
Don’t you miss me ?
Won’t you kiss me ?

You found me through a mate
and lost me in love and hate.
I lived bliss in your wordily embrace
You killed me with lasciviously trace.

It is not fair, not just
Don’t weigh me with temporal lust
I am hurt, I am pained
Tell me, what have you gained ?

I shudder, I fright
Of what you told me that night.
Don’t rack both of us
Take, take back your words.
