As the name suggests, these ladies are tamarind pickers from a remote village of Andhra Pradesh. Carefree and full of life they were busy in their work when I asked them for a picture. Not knowing the local language I gestured them with my camera.
The lady in the front asked, “Photo?”.
“Yes”, I smiled.
And thus began our photo session in sign language. While others were too shy to face the camera, this lady could have given our models a tough competition.

In Dominica everyone has to do it themselves if the want to make the juice or tamarind balls. The tamarind juice is great though! cool pic!
