I wish one day I could paint like this. Whenever I saw a photo with riot of colours like this, I must admit I always thought the picture was digitalized till I myself saw this one.
It was drizzling throughout the day, we had just reached Goa well behind schedule and gone to the beach cursing the somber weather and suddenly I realized the sky broke like a burning iron ball into full sunset and the water caught fire.
Without thinking I immediately shot about 5-6 frames very quickly, trying to use different variations of compositions to try and capture the colours as they spread and painted the wide canvas of sky.
After a day of cloud, wind and rains.. the sacred lamp of the day breaks out again, only to say goodbye in his own parting way.

Note:- From now onwards once in a month (20th day), I’ll publish photos on a certain topic and give my perception on the same. e.g. this month’s topic is sunset-sunrise and the above photo is my contribution.

So, this is where you were hiding (Goa and your photo-blog)! I have been checking your “musings” more or less every day… and nothing new! Happy to have traced you!
Don’t worry, you don’t have to post every day, especially when traveling around, but it’s good to know that you obviously are doing well!

Wow ! beautiful picture …
I have this question in mind many times, how difficult it is to distinguish between the sunset and sunrise just by looking at such pictures ?
Any ways I can do that ?
