Treasure

So the time has come again for monthly contest. Treasure..

Seen, unseen treasures… Sometimes treasures can be felt too.
As humans we look at things differently and treasure them differently in a kind of private art gallery.

Ok, this time I am posting something which is quite different from typical definition of a treasure.

We, seventeen of us consisting of four generations, were on a big family vacation. The youngest, not even three, had plucked these flowers and presented to the oldest member. Extremely overwhelmed by this gesture, she treasured it throughout the day and much more. Getting in/out of the car, climbing up the Tonga, eating, boating, walking.. every step she needed help.. .. but nothing could deter her from treasuring this in her wrinkled hand.

    Well, I always announce next month’s topic with current month’s result. So, people have full one month’s time to sift thru or click some shots for it.
    But to make my job easy, they could give me link only when I post my picture on the same. ..

    So, now I have decided not to make them wait for it. They can paste their links on this ‘topic’ page as soon as they are ready with their subject. I can see some of them were just waiting for my post to appear. It wasn’t fair to them.

    Cuckoo, I am having a different opinion on ‘topic page’. I am not sure if its only purpose is to give some extra time to people to click their pictures but at the same time I think 9 days are good enough.

    The 17 of you of four generations sounds like one big happy family (and reminds me of my own though its only 3 generations in our case now).

    A good post, with a sweet picture and sweeter thoughts.

    Tell me how can I participate with my thoughts and memories of my recent trip to Garhwal that I am ”treasuring” in my mind? Haha..

    For clicking/deciding picture they have full one month’s time but here the purpose is to give more time to paste the link on this site.

    I got a complaint from one of my readers saying she waited to give me the link and then when my post was published she was out of station and thus missed the chance. I don’t want that to happen again with anyone.

    Another thing is if people think they’ll participate only after I wake up/remind them everytime after publishing my post, they are mistaken. The page will be available to all to give their link at any time.

    But yes, I agree with you that 9-10 days are more than sufficient.
